voila ce que ca donne sous appeon...
avec appeon, la page web est ultra rapide. on retrouve presque tous les objets pb.
apparemment, c'est du pure java. contrairement au webform de pb11
bref, il n'y a pas de probleme de postback avec appeon. A noter qu'une version mi2008 sortira et sera compatible avec pb11.

quelques problemes subsistent cependant...
mais sachez qu'il est possible de migrer 90% de votre projet pb.
le reste depend des fonctions pb compatibles ou non...
genre : classdefinition
il y a cependant quelques surprises avec l'utilisation de la fonction classname().
des fonctions utilisées dans les frameworks tel que le pfc...ou powerlib.
sinon, appeon, c'est bluffant.

je flanche avec appeon, avec la gestion des transactions...
je suis sous jdbc
et j'utilise ce genre de requete au niveau de mon framework
string ls_sql ls_sql = "execute pi_pbadonf 'pbadonf', null, 'toctoc'" execute immediate :ls_sql using sqlca ;
sous pb, j'obtiens sur ma table :
"pbadonf", null, "toctoc"
sous appeon, c'est une autre affaire :
"pbadonf","null","toctoc"
si quelqu'un a deja resolu ce genre de probleme...
je n'ai pas testé sous jdbc_bridge.
la reponse de appeon pour regler le cas des valeurs null etant de
declarer chaque procedure sous pb.
declare proc_toto ...ect...
execete proc_toto.
mais dans mon framework, les procedures stockées sont recupérées en STRING et on passe via le execute immediate.
je me vois mal declarer toutes les procedures stockées à leur maniere, vu l'ampleur de l'application.
je testerai prochainement directement depuis la datawindow, avec la methode des procedures updates. si je n'ai pas d'autres choix.
la, je me prends la tete avec la gestion des transactions.
ma methode pour contrer la valeur nulle etant de passer dynamique via une procedure stockée qui execute dynamique la requete.
sauf que lorsque j'enchaine plusieurs enregistrements, cela me provoque un lock isolation...
en fait, en regardant @@trancount, cela me renvoye une valeur superieure à 0.
si quelqu'un s'y connait à ce niveau, je suis preneur. (surtout que sous pb cela fonctionne bien...mais pas sous appeon)

Salut à tous,
Au début, pour développer une application web en powerbuilder, j'ai utilisé PBASP + JBOSS, mais le problème c'est que cet environnement ne permet pas de réutiliser le code de ma ancienne application et aussi il 'est trop long avec beaucoup des erreurs.
Donc j'ai décidé de travailler avec EAServer + Appeon.
Donc comme départ que ce que je pourrais faire.

comme depart, tu installes la version trivial de 30 jours proposé sur le site de appeon.
ca s'installe automatiquement.
attention, il y a 2 versions. la version iis et la version easerver jdbc.

Finalement, ce n'est pas que du marketing sybasien. Sur mon projet précédent, je devais étudier
l'utilisation d'Appeon pour ensuite le proposer au chef de projet, "malheureusement" juste après
j'ai été recruté par une autre SSII qui m'a positionné sur un autre client.

Pour ceux qu'ont utilisées Appeon et EAServer, est ce qu'il y a des problèmes qui se présentent que ce soit dans la phase installation ou implémentation

Ok je vais suivre les tutorials pour l'installation et la configuration.
j'utilise PB v10.5
mais l'application que je voulais créer, doit être a une architecture 3-tiers. avec un serveur SGBD = oracle 10g

et il faut s'inscrire d'abord ! histoire d'avoir un identifiant.
apres, il faut juste repondre aux questionnaires, et ca marche tout seul... n'importe quoi !
alors si ca ne marche pas la, alors tu ne le trouveras nulle part !
